From my family to yours
Back in the 1990's home brewed kombucha became an American health fad. One of my mother's friend gave her a ziplock bag filled with a pungent slime mold and instructed her to feed it sugar and tea. This is how I learned about kombucha as a young girl, I smelled it growing in our cupboard and watched my mother suffer down a glass of sour tea each day.
